The long wait is over! Facebook confirmed that starting today, Instagram is enabling the ability to create and publish posts straight from your desktop.
I know this will be convenient for many of us, especially for Social Media Managers; you don’t have to download or save the photo from your PC then use your mobile phone to upload your content.
Well, starting today you can conveniently create a post on Instagram using your PC or Mac. It will save you time and give you more flexibility. Who wouldn’t want that?
According to Instagram, they are aware that many users are using Instagram from their computer, so they wanted to improve that experience by enabling them to create a feed and post on Instagram with their desktop browser.
How to post on Instagram from desktop
Note: The desktop posting feature is still rolling out, so not all users will see it right away. So, if you are lucky, here is how to post on Instagram using a desktop browser.
1. Click the + icon on the top right corner next to the messenger icon.
2. You can easily drag and drop photos or videos or simply click the “select from your computer” button.
3. Add your favourite filters and do some editing on your post.
4. Add a caption and geotag, and tag people in the post.
5. Then, finally click the Share button.
