The Latest Facebook Updates You Should Know About In 2021

There were many changes in our lives during 2021 — we didn’t even notice how quickly time had passed, including the speed of Facebook updates.

Facebook has given us one of the most extensive lists of platform updates this year. From the latest features of new products for personalization to the newest Business Suite updates.

We are delighted to cover all these fantastic new features, so let’s look at the Facebook updates as of September 2021 that you should know.

Facebook Business Suite Update

Facebook has invested tremendous time and money to achieve its goal for Business Suite, which is to simplify digital management to help your business continue to advertise effectively on the platform.

They’ve just recently announced a new feature called File Manager that allows businesses to create, manage, maintain and post content.

But wait, there’s more!

There’s also a unified Inbox that allows businesses to manage emails and send out remarketing-focused emails.

And lastly, the split-testing feature allows you to test different versions of a post to see which one is most effective in getting your target audience’s attention.

These are exceptional business management features as they will be valuable in helping your brands assess your audience responses and create a strategy for how to move forward.

Ads in the Instagram Shop Tab

I know you’re going to love the first Facebook update of the month: Ads are coming to Instagram’s shop tab, which you can run through the Facebook Ad system.

The advantage of this update to your business is your ad is being placed in an especially high-value, high intent location. This means that your ad shows relevant searched discoveries to the user who wants to buy something. That is an excellent way to expose brands and will likely lead to more conversions.

Note that this update is only available in some selected countries with Instagram’s Shop tab feature, so follow our blogs for additional updates.

The New Messenger Features

Facebook has updated the features that allow businesses to connect with their customers no matter which or what their customers’ journey is.

Now, Facebook Messenger Ads allow advertisers to select “all messaging platforms” as potential customers for how they can message them after clicking on an ad.

This means Facebook automatically pulls up the chat option in the ad based on where a chat is most likely to occur.

On Instagram ads, creators will add a “click-to-chat” button to lead the customers to WhatsApp from their Instagram profile.

Another new feature is the CTA button called “Quote Request.” This will allow the user to request a quotation from a brand directly from Messenger.

Note that businesses are allowed to ask 4-5 questions only before starting a conversation. This will help the brand to provide a precise quotation when beginning the potential conversion.

Facebook Reels

Facebook Reels is here! Or at least in some countries. Facebook will bring one of the most popular social media platforms today TikTok.

We are already aware that Reels already rolled out first on Instagram, and it’s been highly engaging. So, there’s an excellent opportunity to fight the drop of organic reach on Facebook in the future.

Final Thought about Facebook Updates

Facebook has given us some exceptional new features to help business owners and marketers make life easier. Facebook is very serious when they say that they want to make a simplified digital management tool.

The most striking of which are the new Business Suite updates and the Ads in the Instagram Shop tab for many brands. But my favorite feature, as I speak, I love the split-testing feature.

How about you? What can you say about these latest updates? Which one is your most favorite and least favorite?
